Hero Shards are important items used to raise a hero’s Star Levels and Honor Levels. Each hero can advance through five Star Levels, and each level has five tiers. To fully upgrade a hero to the highest Star Level, you need 975 shards.
There are several types of Hero Shards:
- Rare Hero Universal Shard
- Epic Hero Universal Shard
- Legendary Hero Universal Shard
- Hero-specific Shards
Universal shards can be used on any hero of the same rarity, while hero-specific shards can only be used for the particular hero they are meant for. You can unlock a hero by collecting 10 hero-specific shards.
